Tears of a Tiger project

YOU WILL BE WORKING ON THIS WHILE I AM OUT. I WILL TAKE THIS AS YOUR FINAL EXAM GRADE AS LONG AS I RECEIVE A GOOD NOTE FROM THE SUB AND YOUR PRESENTATIONS LOOK LIKE YOU TOOK TIME AND DID THE BEST JOB YOU COULD ON THEM. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT DO THIS, OR THEIR NAME IS LEFT FOR BAD BEHAVIOR, WILL HAVE THE 80 QUESTION FINAL EXAM TO DO ON EXAM DAYS. WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED, YOU MAY PLAY EDUCATIONAL GAMES AS LONG AS YOU STAY QUIET AND RESPECTFUL! BE GOOD--MS. ROTH


Today and tomorrow, you and a partner will be working on a presentation that goes along with Tears of a Tiger. You may pick any topic that goes with the book. For example: teen drinking, depression, teen suicide..or any others you can think of. Since this book deals with teenagers, you can even take it a little further and research current topics like bullying etc. If you aren't sure if it goes, ask me.

Once you have decided what you are researching, you will look up facts and information about that topic. You and your partner will then put the info into a Google Slides project. To get the best grade, you should include pictures, facts, and where you found the info. 

One of you start a slide project and share it with the other person and me. 

There is not a certain number of slides, but I want you to explain your topic fully. You guys did a great job with reading the book, and I'm looking forward to seeing your presentations. We will present them next Tuesday in class. 

TO BE ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER, YOU MUST TALK QUIETLY. IF THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE GROUPS.
